Bringing blue collar jobs back with e-learning

In her article, Tess Taylor describes a certain challenge which every company does or will have to face: “how to prepare the next generation of industrial workers to perform complex jobs in the age of computer-enabled systems”. And she is right that this is “where the rubber meets the road in terms of e-learning technology for the industrial sector. E-Learning is more useful in preparing workers for the challenges of a modern industrial world – when it makes sure that all learning modules include the right mix of on-the-job experience and best practices as shared by seasoned professionals.”
